Introduction
ESP-DASH is a C++ library for building real-time, on-device web dashboards for ESP32, RP2040 and RP2350 microcontrollers.
ESP-DASH is a UI library that serves a complete, real-time dashboard directly from your microcontroller. You describe the dashboard in C++ with ready-made cards, charts and statistics; ESP-DASH generates the web interface and keeps every connected browser in sync. You do not need to write HTML, CSS or JavaScript.

Key capabilities
- Automatic web interface: the dashboard page is generated and served by the library.
- Real-time updates: value changes are pushed to all connected clients over a WebSocket.
- C++ API: widgets are declared and updated from your sketch; no front-end code is required.
- Ready-to-use widgets: cards for displaying values and capturing user input, plus statistics for device information.
- Dynamic layout: widgets can be added to or removed from the dashboard at runtime.
- Built-in charts: plot data series directly on the dashboard.
Supported boards
- ESP32
- RP2040 (Raspberry Pi Pico W)
- RP2350 (Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W)
See Installation for the required core and library versions for each platform.
ESP8266 is not officially supported in ESP-DASH v5. For ESP8266 projects, use ESP-DASH v4.
ESP-DASH Lite and ESP-DASH Pro
This documentation covers both editions of ESP-DASH. ESP-DASH Lite is open source and licensed under GPL-3.0. ESP-DASH Pro is a commercial edition with additional widgets and features such as tabs and custom branding. Pages for features that are available only in ESP-DASH Pro are marked accordingly.
