Installation
Install NetWizard and its platform-specific dependencies in the Arduino IDE or PlatformIO.
This page lists the dependencies NetWizard requires on each platform and describes how to install the library in the Arduino IDE and PlatformIO.
Dependencies
Install only the versions listed below. Other versions can cause NetWizard to fail to compile or to work only partially.
- ESP32 Arduino Core >= v3.3.7
- ArduinoJson >= v7.4.2
On ESP32, credentials are stored with the Preferences library that ships with the core.
Async mode requires additional libraries.
Flash file system on RP2040 and RP2350
On RP2040 and RP2350, credentials are stored in a LittleFS partition. Without one, NetWizard cannot persist any data. In the Arduino IDE, select a flash layout with a file system, for example Tools > Flash Size > 2MB (Sketch 1MB, FS 1MB).
Install NetWizard
NetWizard Lite is published as NetWizard. NetWizard Pro is distributed separately; install it with the manual or ZIP method using the archive you received with your license.
Library Manager
Open Sketch > Include Library > Manage Libraries, search for "NetWizard" and click Install.
Import a ZIP library
- Download the NetWizard repository archive.
- Open Sketch > Include Library > Add .ZIP Library and select the downloaded file.
Manual installation
- Download the NetWizard repository archive.
- Extract the archive into your Arduino libraries folder:
- Windows:
Documents/Arduino/libraries/ - Linux:
<sketchbook>/libraries/
- Windows:
Include the library
The header depends on the edition:
#include <NetWizard.h>Both editions expose the same NetWizard class, so the rest of your sketch is identical.
Next steps
- Example: a complete sketch with callbacks and parameters.
- Integration Guide: add NetWizard to an existing sketch.
- Async Mode: use NetWizard with
ESPAsyncWebServer.
